Silver is Golden

DisH (Downtown is Happening!) has uncovered a new, very happening group of songsters, The Silver Tones, that meet once a week at Elmwood Hall. More than thirty strong, the troupe has been working together for 6 months and are ready to debut. Their repertoire ranges through the decades, from “Ain’t She Sweet” to “Five Foot Two” to “Will You Love Me Tomorrow” to the Beatles’ “All My Loving.”  They even throw in “Twist and Shout” and some ABBA tunes. And it doesn’t stop there: Their musical instrument accompaniment, happily, includes ukeleles, harmonica, fiddle, tambourine, and washboard. Throw in some hot tap dancing and There’s No Business Like Show Business.
