She’s the fizz, he’s the grapes. Together, they make champagne. As RmediA, together they make videos. Renato=R. Alicia=A. Clever. On any given day, you’ll see them strolling about downtown Danbury, loaded with camera equipment and capturing - brillliantly - what we so often don’t pay attention to. He’s the guy with the camera, she’s the production wrangler.  Their sparkle is infectious, and their Main Street infusion - champagne straight to the vein - comes from their love of discovery living and working in a City they love. Alicia and Renato operate the  spacious RmediA studio atop the former Woolwooth’s store at 241 Main Street, with a four-window view of the street below, and live near Tarrywile Park.

She was in the newspaper biz; first as a reporter for the Lewisboro Ledger in South Salem, NY, then as editor for the Weston Forum in Ridgefield. It wasn’t her cup of bubbly. Renato, a heavy metal guitarist. She’s also a culinary whiz and he’s a hard core mountain biker. They clicked, and together since 1999, they’ve kept on clicking - like from a thesaurus: “go hand in hand, harmonize, get the picture.” The photo above of the Music Centre rooftop is just an example of what their eyes see - and we often don’t pay attention to!

The Ghios love to travel and eat, whether off to Portugal or up to Chaparro’s at West & Beaver Streets. You can find their musings about downtown Danbury and surrounds on their blog, http://hatcitycentric.blogspot.com You can find their extensive, award winning portfolio at rmedia.tv Their tag: “We plan. We shoot. We cut. We deliver.” And they do.

I’d compare them to a bottle of Champagne Krug Clos Du Mesnil Blanc De Blancs 1995. "Bright, clean fun. Good Value. Will buy again." - wine.com  A bottle will cost you around $969. (Make that two bottles!)
