I wrote a commentary about the horrific shooting event in Newtown Ct. As a photographer/photojournalist and member of the Cultural Alliance of Western Connecticut, I want to share the photo to give a peaceful visual to this awful event.

I shot this rainbow photo earlier this year in a more peaceful moment. I was heading down Churchill Road in Newtown to take my daughter to her music lesson in a music school at the bottom of this hill. The photo shows a view entering Sandy Hook. The rainbow looks as if it is right over the Sandy Hook Elementary School which is about two blocks away, so I wanted to share this photo. (It's actually a double rainbow if you look at the upper left photo.)
